    IMPLEMENTATION DESCRIPTION

Construction of double-track 400 kV Ostrołęka – Olsztyn Mątki line with temporary operation of a single track with the voltage of 220kV in Ostrołęka – Olsztyn relation

EMCA Volt sp. z o.o. in cooperation with Aldesa Nowa Energia Sp. z o.o. implemented, for Polskie Sieci Elektroenergetyczne S.A. Investor, the construction project for a power line of 400kV in Ostrołęka – Olsztyn Mątki relation. This project is critical to the ensuring of power safety in the region of Warmia, Mazury and northern Mazowsze and to improving electricity transfer from the north to the south of Poland. This project will be implemented in the following two voivodeships: warmińsko-mazurskie and mazowieckie. The line will cross the following communes: Rzekuń, Lelis, Kadzidło, Baranowo, Czarnia, Wielbark, Szczytno, Dźwierzuty, Purda, Barczewo, Dywity, Jonkowo. 138 km of a new line will replace the existing 220 kV line or partially change its route so that disturbing the local community and natural environment is reduced as much as possible. The construction of a new line will improve the reliability of the transmission network and will facilitate the counteracting of the effects of serious system failures which may results from various fortuitous events. The improvement of conditions and guarantee of power supply in communes is an opportunity for winning new investors and in consequence opening many job vacancies. Construction works conducted as part of this project began in June 2015. Currently, there ware works held in all the communes where a double track power line 400 kV Ostrołęka – Olsztyn Mątki will be built.
